How often should the lawn be cut?
Weekly through the main growing season and fortnightly at either end of it is the usual pattern. The rule that matters is never taking more than about a third of the blade height in one cut — which is why a lawn left too long looks yellow and stressed after it is finally mown.
Are clippings taken away?
