About childcare & babysitting services on Task Masters
Babysitters and childcare providers support families with occasional evenings, after-school routines or regular care. The right arrangement depends on your children's ages, needs and daily schedule, as well as the caregiver's experience. Discuss supervision, meals, bedtime and any driving before agreeing on a rate. Meet the caregiver, independently check their references and screening information, and arrange an introduction while you are present. Clear expectations and written emergency instructions help both the family and caregiver prepare for the first booking.

Frequently asked questions
Does a Verified Business badge mean a sitter has been background-checked?
No. Task Masters' Verified Business badge concerns business registration, not a caregiver's criminal background or suitability for childcare. Independently verify the person who will provide care, references and relevant screening, and discuss experience and emergency procedures before hiring.
What information should I leave with the caregiver?
Provide your contact details, a backup contact, the home address, emergency instructions, allergies and routines. Explain authorized pickups, house rules and where essential supplies are kept. If medication is involved, agree on responsibilities and provide clear written instructions consistent with your child's care plan.
Can a sitter handle school pickup or drive my children?
Only arrange this after discussing it explicitly. Verify the driver's license and appropriate insurance, agree on the vehicle and suitable child restraints, and confirm the school's pickup authorization. Include destinations, mileage costs and what to do if a pickup is delayed in the booking details.
